From the moment Suus got a pony on her eighth birthday, she has ridden almost every day. Her talent was quickly noticed. As a youth rider, she became Dutch champion no fewer than three times, in 2002, 2003 and 2005 respectively.

Nowadays she competes up to 1.60m Grand Prix level. As a former member of the Hamburg Giants in the prestigious Global Champions Tour, Suus will play for the Cannes Stars in 2023. This participation took Suus and her sport horses to the world’s most beautiful show jumping competitions: from Miami Beach to Mexico City. Suus: “Participating in the Globals opened up a whole new dimension in equestrian sports for me. I gained so much new experience and met lots of interesting people. I competed against riders I used to look up to, riding my horses Alfa Jordan and King Kong.”

In addition to competing in show jumping at the highest level, Suus is involved in trading and breeding sport horses. Suus has participated in various auctions and organized the first edition of Suus Kuyten Auctions in 2022.
