Since early 2026, La Vieda S has been among Suus’s future talents. At the beginning of this year, the nine-year-old mare already achieved strong results in Oliva, after previously competing in national 1.40m classes in Germany. Her full sister, La Vie S 3, has already performed at 1.45m-level in Germany with Henrik Griese. The Hanoverian-bred La Vieda S comes from the second crop of the stallion Light My Fire, whose oldest offspring are already competing at 1.40m-level or higher. For example, Steve Guerdat’s striking 1.50m-level competing horse Lusso GIH Z is also a descendant of Light My Fire. On the dam’s side, La Vieda S carries in the second generation the performance genes of Grand Prix producer Escudo I, who has built a strong reputation in breeding as the sire of top-level performers such as Embassy II, Enorm, and Escobar. In addition, La Vieda S represents a versatile Hanoverian damline, from which the 1.60m-level showjumper Van Schijndel’s Cindy (s.Cheenook) originates as well.
